Standards Development
Standards of UK ‘national origin’ are reviewed every five years to validate their continued status as current British Standards.
Each standard has a committee of subject experts responsible for overseeing the review of the standard.
The list of standards being reviewed in 2024 is available below, via the downloadable PDF. They are sorted in standard number order (BSI identifier) and include the standard title, the responsible committee reference and current status for each standard.
• Standards with the status 'current' can be confirmed, withdrawn or revised/amended.
• Standards with the status 'confirmed' can be re-confirmed, withdrawn or revised/amended.
