Scope

This document specifies the evaluation of the fire performance of water mist systems used for fire protection of wet benches and similar processing equipment.

EXAMPLE This application includes tools which consist of ventilated and unventilated compartments, spin rinsedryers, alcohol vapor dryers, chemical and mechanical polishing tools, and step and repeat exposure systems.

Purpose

There is a need to set up minimum test requirements to properly evaluate water mist systems to be installed. The working draft and project are ready to be activated.
