Scope

This document describes a test method for the determination of the water content of samples of bituminous mixtures. The test method is suitable for checking conformity to a product specification, where required.

Purpose

The purpose for revision is

- to apply correct terminology for requirement on apparatus;

- correction of Figure 3;

- deletion if reference to EN 1269738;

- adapt the document to the latest CEN template;

- collect new experiences during CEN Enquiry for further development of the test method.
