Scope

Set basic rules, procedures and evaluation methods for the topic “Release of Dangerous Substances” for approval by TC 189. The proposed WG7 “PG Dangerous Substances” should work on these topics, based on “Surface Leaching Test TC 351 ( EN 16637-2; Construction products – Assessment of release of dangerous substances – Part 2: Horizontal dynamic surface leaching test”.

Purpose

The purpose of this document is to define the procedure and evaluation details needed for testing Geosythetics according to the general test method for the release of dangerous substances described in CEN/TS 16637-2 "Construction products – Assessment of release of dangerous substances – Part 2: Horizontal dynamic surface leaching test".
