There is currently no uniform provision for design of flax machinery in view of safety and health of operators. EN ISO 4254-1 that covers only general aspects of agricultural aspects is not sufficient to deal with the specific machines. Linen is an increasing market and it is time to establish uniform provisions regarding the State of the Art in this field.
