Scope

BS 7523 specifies the composition, properties and dimensional tolerances for performed cellular PE materials for the thermal insulation of pipework.

Purpose

BS 7523 specifie two types of cellular PE pipe insulation, differing on their thermal conductivity, including a method to determine the thermal conductivity.
