Scope

BS 5617 specifies the property requirements, the properties of the components and the production parameters, of UF foam systems suitable for injection into external masonry or concrete cavity walls to provide improved thermal insulation.
 

 

Purpose

BS 5617 guidelines help you to manufacture a high-quality UF foam system for injection into external masonry and cavity walls (with masonry or concrete inner and outer leaves) and provides details on the interface between the foam supplier and the installation contractor. This helps provide thermal insulation for buildings.
