Scope

This Part of BS 4840 specifies requirements for the composition, physical properties and dimensional tolerances of PUR foam in slabs (blocks, boards and sheets) for the thermal insulation of refrigerator cabinets (domestic and commercial), cold rooms and cold stores.

Purpose

BS 4840-2 guidelines help you to manufacture high-quality PUR foam slabs for the storage needs of users. This helps temperature-sensitive products remain intact in storage.
