Scope

BS 4840-1 specifies requirements for the composition, physical properties and dimensional tolerances of PUR foam in slabs (blocks, boards and sheets) for the thermal insulation of transport containers and insulated vehicle bodies.

Purpose

BS 4840-1 guidelines help you to manufacture high-quality PUR foam slabs for the packaging, insulation, and transportation needs of users. This helps temperature-sensitive products remain intact in during transportation.
