This document provides requirements to and recommendations for the periodic inspection and testing of permanently mounted tubes from 150 L to 3000 L and large tubes from 3000 L to 15000 L including frames and associated equipment of This document provides requirements to and recommendations for the periodic inspection and testing of permanently mounted tubes from 150 L to 3000 L and large tubes from 3000 L to 15000 L including frames and associated equipment of the following designs:
• Composite design with seamless metallic liners,
• Composite design with non-loadsharing liners,
• Seamless steel design.
The development of this new ISO 23802 document is necessary for addressing periodic inspection of transportable module with permanently mounted tubes and large tubes in a frame.
There is no current ISO standard for these products.
The work will be a continuation of the approved work item in ISO TC 58/SC 4/WG 19 registered 2109- 02-12 and developed to a CD stage. ISO TC 58/SC 4 Resolution 5/2023 agreed to move work item back to the preliminary work item stage with the intention to relaunch the project in the future. Based on this resolution and the work already done in developing CD 23802, a NWIP is hereby submitted.
