This document applies to building-integrated photovoltaic modules as defined in IEC 63092-1.
With the rapid development of BIPV industry, BIPV technology has attracted more and more attention. However, there is a lack of basic standards and guidance methods for product naming and labeling throughout the whole life cycle of photovoltaic building integrated components. The current standard IEC 61215 only requires the marking type, but does not make detailed and in-depth requirements on the code rules, such as model and production serial number, installation code, etc. The application of BIM in construction engineering is also described in detail in ISO 19650, which stipulates that the identification code of building components should cover the entire life cycle of the components. In addition, in the building process of BIM software model, we must complete the necessary type naming. However, there is no unified naming rule for photovoltaic components at present, and different designers have different naming methods for the same area. The disunity of technical information causes great obstacles to the later installation, operation and maintenance, after-sales and recycling process, which seriously affects the work efficiency. In order to further standardize and unified building photovoltaic component model and the identification code establishment method, to the user in a clear hint, installation guide and instructions, at the same time in order to make the building photovoltaic component products are identifiable, installation guide, traceability, convenient management department for the entire life cycle of the product specification management, formulates this standard.
