Scope

The scope of this committee is limited to the following specialty metals and minerals: antimony, beryllium, cobalt, chromium, graphite, niobium, platinum group metals.

Purpose

BSI is seeking to establish a new national mirror committee for specialty metals and minerals. This new committee will cover standardization in the field of specialty metals and minerals, and is responsible for UK input into ISO/TC 345. It includes: terminology, classification, sampling, testing and chemical analysis methods, and delivery conditions.
