Scope

This document defines terms and acronyms for future flight systems and the ecosystem in which they operate.

It covers terms that supplement existing vocabularies relating to the future flight systems and ecosystem.

It does not cover terms that are manufacturer specific.

This BSI Flex is primarily applicable to the UK-based future flight systems ecosystem.

This document is for use by legislators, regulators, insurers, and organizations involved in uncrewed aircraft systems operations, technologies, and infrastructure, as well as aircraft manufacturers.
