Scope

This standard defines terminology used for management of network assets in power systems.

Purpose

The purpose and justification for this proposed project are formulated in the strategic busines s plan (SBP) of IEC TC 123 (SMB/7621/R). The proposed activity supports the following strategic objectives stated in the SBP:

– To define terminology used for management of network assets in power systems. (60050 -693)

The Committee Draft (CD) of this project has been approved by the participating members (P-members) of TC 123 (123/28A/CD, 123/43/CC) and has been sent to TC 1. However, since it will be 60 months from the start in October 2023, it is necessary to relaunch a new project (NP) to validate i ts market relevance.
