Scope

This document is applicable to software processing of records taken by digital recorders used for measurements during tests with alternating current and direct current as specified in IEC 62475. It is also applicable to evaluation of alternating and direct voltage in high voltage dielectric testing as specified in IEC 60060 1, IEC 60060 2, IEC 60060 3 and in IEC 61180.

Purpose

The purpose of this project is largely contained in the text describing the scope. The vast majority of high voltage and high current measurements are obtained using digital instruments thus a standard that defines the software requirements is needed
