This technical standard will establish operational guidelines, safety regulations, and emergency requirements for the entire multimodal transportation process, including relevant requirements for road transportation, railway transportation, shipment transportation, port operations, yard operations and terminal applications.
The regulation is put forward under the background of unbalanced supply and demand in global LNG trade region and ensuring the safety of energy use. As a supplementary form of LNG trade, LNG tank container is more suitable for LNG transportation between islands and inland rivers and LNG peak shaving storage projects, due to its advantages of easy storage and transportation, and long maintenance time.
