Preferentially the silver content of the alloys lies between 50 ‰ (parts per thousand) and 990 ‰ silver.
NOTE Lower contents of silver can be analyzed with this method.
Silver in jewellery alloys is typically performed in the precious metal industry by Volumetric (potentiometric) method. This method allows to determine all elements in a precious metal alloy with one method at the same time and is less influenced by other elements.
