Scope

This document provides methods to assess the ability of gas-fired appliances to be repaired.

Purpose

Improving reparability of gas-fired heating products. The document aims to support current good practice in the industry by creating a recognized way of assessing the reparability of gas-fired heating products. By creating an assessment method, the document will encourage the industry to become aligned with best practice. Making a product easier to repair also opens up the possibility of reuse. This document will aim to do this while ensuring that safety of products is maintained.
