Recycled aggregates include both coarse aggregates and fine aggregates.
To accelerate use of recycled aggregates produced from construction and demolition wastes, which are generated in significant quantities during construction and after demolition of concrete structures across globe.
To contribute to circular economy by upcycling of construction and demolition wastes such as demolished concrete and demolished masonry units.
To provide and set standards on the accepted quality of recycled aggregates for use in structural concrete, non-structural concrete, and concrete products by international community by reflecting diversity of recycled aggregate sources.
