The high frequency inductive components are one of the important components of a DC-to-DC converter because it stores energy and smoothed current.
High frequency inductive components for DC-to-DC converters are advancing in high current, high frequency, and low loss in accordance with market requirements. International and national standards for measuring AC losses in magnetic components include the IEC 62044 standard series and IEC 63300, which are intended to measure magnetic materials such as cores. Therefore, appropriate metrics for high frequency inductive components are needed.
According to the standard, AC loss of the high frequency inductive components for DC-to-DC converter can be accurately compared. Along with this, it is expected to accelerate further property improvement and promote technological progress and quality improvement.
