The European Standards of CEN/TC 234 comprise the functional requirements in the field of gas infrastructure from the input of gas into the on-shore transmission network up to the inlet connection of gas appliances, including transmission, distribution, storage, compression, pressure regulation and metering, installation, injection of (renewable) gases such as biomethane, hydrogen, gas quality issues and others.
The technical content of CEN/TR 16395:2012 is retained unchanged since the state of the art in the scope of the document has not changed. However, the following editorial adaptations are necessary to establish the reference to the current legal framework and the current European Standards: — updating of titles of the European Standards
— addition of new documents published by CEN/TC 234
— updating of the reference to PED
— introduction of a new clause on pressure units in CEN/TC 234 European Standards
