Scope

This document specifies the evaluation of the fire performance of water mist systems for fire protection of non-stacking garages, fully enclosed garages and underground garages.

This document is applicable for horizontal, solid, flat ceilings with heights of 2 m and above.

Purpose

There is a need to set up minimum test requirements to properly evaluate water mist systems to be installed.

As the work in CEN/TC 191/WG 10 has gone ahead enough, we want to activate this project.
