Scope

This European Standard specifies terms and definitions, product requirements and test methods for the construction and performance of loft ladders.

Purpose

During the systematic review of EN 14975 several comments have been received in order to revise the standard e.g. to take into account a higher thickness of the ceiling and a higher work load as in DIN 3193.
