Scope

This document defines the structure and content for the long-term preservation of digital product and technical data. EN9300 is broken into a series of separate standard parts to make the standard applicable for different business requirements and extensible for further long-term archiving formats.

Purpose

The part 1 edition 1 has been published in 2006. Works have been done since 2006 in the LOTAR International project which will result in new EN9300 LOTAR parts, not intilally planned in 2006
