Scope

This document deals with cement with recycled building materials whose intended use is the preparation of concrete, mortar, grout etc.

Purpose

Following a French request for a new non-harmonized standard (see N 1499) for the use of Recycled Concrete Fines (RCF) as main constituent of cements, WG 6 was asked by CEN/TC 51 to examine the request (see N 1519). At the last meeting of WG 6 on 2021-10-07 the WG 6 discussed the request and a draft dossier (see N 1500) in detail and agreed to register a work item for the preparation of a new standard EN 197-6.
