Scope

The scope of this standard (Part 2) addresses the specific requirements which are applicable to all types of electronic devices with an integral display such as cell phones, computer tablets, desktop, laptop computers, monitors and printers.

Purpose

There is a strong support for this standard from many manufacturers of cell phones, computer tablets, desktop, and laptop computers, monitors and printers who find it difficult with the available space on the devices to meet the agencies requirements for regulatory marks.
