Scope

This document specifies the evaluation of the fire performance of water mist systems used for fire protection of wet benches and similar processing equipment.

EXAMPLE - This application includes tools which consist of ventilated and unventilated compartments, spin rinsedryers, alcohol vapor dryers, chemical and mechanical polishing tools, and step and repeat exposure systems.

Purpose

There is a need to set up minimum test requirements to properly evaluate water mist systems to be installed.
