Scope

This document specifies requirements and describes test methods for control deluge valves and their actuators used in water side of water mist systems. Deluge valves covered by EN 12259-9 are not covered by this document.

Purpose

There is a need to set up minimum test requirements to properly evaluate water mist systems to be installed.
