This International standard specifies the performance requirements for push_pull single_pole, trip_free circuit_breakers having an inverse time/current characteristic, of normal ratings up to and including 35A, for use in nominal 28Vd.c and/or 115V 400Hz a.c line to neutral circuits
ISO1467:1973 General purpose push-pull single-pole circuit-breakers for aircraft-Performance requirements was published in 1970s, aviation has come a long way in nearly half a century, aircraft fly faster and higher altitudes, working conditions are harsher, all of these put forward higher requirements for airborne systems.
With the development of aviation industry, many of the current performance of aircraft circuit breakers have exceeded the requirements of ISO 1467:1973, and even some new performance requirements are not reflected in this standard. There are also new requirements for the protection characteristics of aviation circuit breakers. It is very necessary to revise the ISO 1467:1973 according to the new development.
