Scope

This new work item proposal provides guidance on engaging people in an organization’s asset management system, and on enhancing their involvement and competence within it. This International Standard is applicable for any organization, regardless of size, type, or activity to carry out recruitment, management, training and implementation of asset management staff, and can guide various organizations to apply ISO 55001 and ISO 55002

Purpose

This new work item proposal provides guides for selecting and training the personnel who are competent for the position of asset management for all kinds of organizations, so as to improve the level of asset management of organizations, and help to implement various work requirements for asset management of each organization.
