Determination of Metallic Iron is an important factor for controlling of the sponge iron production process and it is needed to be determined rapid to prevent the producing on qualified product. There is a standard method for determination of metallic iron which uses Bromine-methanol for titration of iron but bromine is a hazardous material and working with this chemical is very difficult and requires strict safety regulations. In the proposed method, we propose using dichromate instead of bromine. The statistical activities have been done for determination of the repeatability and uncertainty for the proposed method and the result are satisfying
