Establish definitions and requirements related to the manufacture, inspection, storage, use and operation for Submersible linear motors used in oil production.
This technology had been used worldwide for oil production. The reciprocating pump can be drove by Submersible Linear Motor without the requirement of the sucker rod. Many countries have paid attention to this product Since 2004, such as China, the United States, Russia, Canada, Myanmar, Australia, etc.
There are more than 3000 wells that have been used this product for oil production. The average depth of pump is 1309 m, the deepest one is 2500 m. Speed of pump is 4/min, Daily production is 3.15 t (0.5 t--7.5 t), Pump efficiency is 57.72%, The average workover interval is 479 days, up to 2086 days.
It has some advantages:
• Environmentally Friendly--No noise and failed oil. It’s especially suitable for environmental sensitive areas: Offshore platforms, Low-lying flood areas, Residential areas, etc.

• No requirement of sucker rod, and the weight of the Linear motor is only 0.5 t, it saves the steel.
• According to actual working conditions, it can work Intermittently which could reduce energy consumption.
• Extensive Applicable Range--It can be used in vertical, highly deviated, horizontal wells, and it is suitable for residential areas and environmental sensitive areas.
• Safe and Simple Operation--The Intelligent control cabinet can adjust parameters online without stopping. The interface of the control system is easy to understand for workers.
As mentioned above, it is necessary to develop the ISO standard, it can regulate the production activities of enterprises, standardize the market behavior, lead the product technology development, promote the establishment of optimal order and the mutual coordination and cooperation in related products, it also can guide the production, improve product quality.
