It is intended to be used by condition monitoring practitioners, engineers and technicians and provides a practical step-by-step vibration-based approach to fault diagnosis. In addition it gives a number of examples for a range of electrical generators over 50 MVA and component types and their associated fault symptoms.
Part 3 of ISO 13373 provides general guidelines for a range of rotating machinery. This Part 10 provides specific guidelines for electrical generators over 50 MVA.
ISO/TC108/SC2/WG10 was created in 2004 and has been working on several parts of these standards. The working group now feels that since ISO 13373-10, which is referenced in ISO 13373-3, is now complete we are attaching here this document ISO TC108/SC2/WG10/N212, which contains the current state of the standard. Thus the working group feels that ISO 13373-10 is ready for processing as a New Work Item.
