Scope

This standard was developed to provide an overview of normative references for Growing media

– Determination of specific parameters.

• determination of the nitrogen, P2O5 and K2O content

• determination of the copper and zinc content,

• determination of the chloride content,

• determination of pH,

• determination of the electrical conductivity,

• determination of dry matter,

• determination of quantity.

Purpose

Technical Specification to prepare for the harmonised 'umbrella' standard Growing media – Determination of specific parameters, specified in EU Fertilising Products Regulation (FPR), for growing media and soil improvers (including compost and digestates)
