According to the current state, there are no uniform guidelines for the planning and execution of martial arts examinations. This standard contributes to the uniform and transparent execution of examinations for martial arts schools.
Currently there is a large number of different martial arts in the field, that also offer examinations. Most of them are organized in their own umbrella federations. Each one reserves the right to examine according to their own grading systems, which are sometimes not visible to outsiders.
This leads to a lack of transparency and comparability of the qualification. For example, if a student changes the school and Federation, this makes it more difficult to classify the student in the own graduation system, which also increases the work for the martial arts teacher. The aim is to develop uniform framework factors for the implementation of graduation examinations in the different martial arts.
