Standards Development
This ISO 18752 specifies the requirements for rubber hoses and hose assemblies used for hydraulic applications. The hoses and hose assemblies are designed for oil-based hydraulic fluids. Other ISO standard for hydraulic applications such as ISO 1436, ISO 3862 and ISO 4079, those are accepted to be used not only oil-based fluids but also water. to consider the customers convenience add water-based fluids and water to this scope.

In view of the revision of ISO 1436, ISO3862, and ISO 4079, also the actual usage in the fields, “waterbased hydraulic oil” and “water” will be added to this ISO 18752 scope, and their water resistance and durability will be specified. Expand the scope of application, this makes it easier for the customer to select the product to be used depending on the fluid used, and there are more cases in which there is no need to change the hose specifications for each fluid.
