Scope

This document specifies test methods of water content forstyrene typestrong basic and free amine weak basic anion exchange resins inhydroxide form.

Purpose

Water content of anion exchange resin is an important performance index. When determining water content of anion exchange resin, water content testing error will be caused due to degradation of OH type anion exchange resin when drying at high temperature. Normally, water content of chlorine type anion exchange resin is only tested.At the same time, the actual application state of anion exchange resin is oxygen-hydrogen, and more and more end customers need oxygen-hydrogen products.China GB/ t5759-2000 has put forward a water content test method for oh-type anion exchange resin, and after years of practical application, the reliability of the method has been fully verified.
