Scope

This part of the standard series describes a method for determining the colour stability of colouring materials under defined conditions in plastics by an oven test. The result of the determination is a relative value, not an absolut one. The method is mainly used for testing colouring materials in polyvinyl chloride, and in thermosetting materials.

Purpose

There is a need to have this standards at International level.
