a) background to the decisions made in the National Annexes for some of the Nationally Determined Parameters;
b) commentary on some specific subclauses from BS EN 1992‑1‑1:2004, BS EN 1992‑1‑2:2004 and BS EN 1992-3:2006; and
c) reference to the requirements of the building regulations in the UK [1,2] that are not covered in BS EN 1992-1-1:2004, BS EN 1992-1-2:2004, BS EN 1992-3:2006 and their UK National Annexes.
Reason for new, revision or amendment
In order to provide the correct level of support for the implementation of BS EN 1992:
1. Change the title to include BS EN 1992-4 (Design of fastenings).
2. Include BS EN 1992 – 4 in ‘Introduction’ and ‘Scope’.
3. To review and rewrite Clauses 2.1, 2.6, 2.9.1 and 2.9.3
4. Introduce a new Section 5 for matters connected with BS EN 1992-4 (design of fastenings into concrete)
5. Explanatory notes on the revisions to BSEN 1992-1-2 (Structural fire design).
6. Figure 6 correct equation in key point 1 of 3rd diagram.
7. Figure B2 correct inequality in title.
8. Add commentary on interpretation of C766

Under the direction of B/525, the subcommittee is responsible for the UK input to CEN/TC 250/SC 2 Eurocode 1992 - Design of concrete structures and Eurocodes related documents. It also mirrors CEN/TC 104 Concrete and related products SC 2 Execution and ISO/TC 71/SC 3 Concrete production and execution of concrete structures and ISO/TC 71/SC 5 Simplified design
