EN 913:2018 This European Standard specifies general safety requirements and test methods for all pieces of gymnastic equipment intended for use supervised by a competent person and not specified in other, individual standards. This European Standard is not applicable to other sport equipment, playground equipment, stationary training equipment or educational training equipment.
- Correction under B.1.4 “Body mass”: inconsistency in text (94 kg and 70 kg) and in the table (100 kg and 74 kg) for one person - Amendment to Annex A (Determination of entrapment) in order to make the standard usable for test houses (in version EN 913:2008) any criteria on failure or passing the test are missing. The aim of the amendment is to fix this problem as fast as possible.
CEN/TC 136/WG 22 Recommendation 4/2019: CEN/TC 136/WG 22 recommends to CEN/TC 136 to start a new working item on an amendment on EN 913:2018, with the attached document (changing Annex A back to version of EN 913:2008 and align the weights in Annex B).
