Scope
This standard provides the method of using the robot for ultrasonic testing for surface or inner defects in isotropic metals and non-metal materials (glass, ceramic etc.), and in the components with a complex surface. During the scanning process, joint robots are used to clamp ultrasonic probes or workpieces.
Purpose
This standard is applicable to ultrasonic non-destructive testing using one or more robot robots, which is especially applicable to the testing of components with the complex surface, and to the testing in those areas where manual inspection is not practical due to the dangerous and harmful environment
