Scope

TC 205 – WG 9 deals with a transfer of the European Standard EN 15316-2 to ISO level. The new ISO standard has the number ISO 52031. In ISO 52031 a calculation method of the heat and cooling emission systems are described. The calculation method deals with all the emission systems in buildings. But on the ISO level no product standard for radiators and convectors are available. The new work Item should close this gap a should transfer the EN 442 to ISO.

Purpose

Input parameters for the energy calculation based on product standards are very important for the new standard ISO 52031. The current situation is that product relevant input parameters are not available. Especially for radiators and convector systems no standard is available on ISO-level. The new work Item should therefore transfer the existing EN 442 to an ISO standard.
