Scope

This part of IS0 10545 specifies a multi-attribute method for determining the wear resistance of ceramic tiles.

Purpose

Creation of a comprehensive method able to characterize all the surfaces of ceramic tiles and to allow their classification on the basis of wear resistance. This method allows to better address the communication from the producer to the final consumer. The final consumer is thus able to evaluate ceramic tile characteristics as function of application.
