This document applies to electrically operated spray seats, including integral types, and separate types, intended for household and similar use, supplied from the mains or from batteries. This standard specifies particular requirements for determining the airborne acoustical noise emitted by spray seats during various operating modes.
Measurement of the bowl flush function is excluded from this standard.
This Standard does not apply to the spray seats that are intended for medical and/or assistive functions.
