This document provides requirements and test methods for the measurement of power loss and control circuit power consumption of circuit-breakers and similar equipment for household use such as circuit-breakers, RCCBs, RCBOs, AFDDs, POPs and electromechanical contactors.

The measured values can notably be used for the implementation of the IEC 63701-2-1: Specific requirements for electrical accessories except cable management systems in the scope of SC 23 A..
