Scope

This International Standard describes a method for determining chlorine and fluorine in plutonium oxide powder,mixed (U,Pu)O2 powders and sintered pellets produced during the fuel fabrication or reprocessing. It is applicable for the analysis of samples with chlorine not less than 5 mg.kg−1 (μg g-1) and fluorine not less than 2 mg.kg−1 (μg g-1).

For UO2 powder and sintered pellets, refer to ISO 22875.
