This part of IEC 62885 is applicable for material efficiency aspects for surface cleaning appliances for household or similar use. This document provides measurement methods to assess recycled content.
NOTE The method for the assessment of recycled content is based on EN 45557:2020 General method for assessing the proportion of recycled material (3.2.1) content in energy-related products.
This document is not applicable for surface cleaning appliances for commercial use (3.1.1).
