This part of IEC 62862 specifies the physical and chemical properties, technical requirements and evaluation, sampling, labelling, inspection interval and reporting, maintenance and anti-deterioration measures when operating, recycling, replacing and disusing, technical management and safety requirements about the mixture of biphenyl and diphenyl oxide (BP/DPO) heat transfer fluids for use in line-focus concentrated solar power(CSP) plants. Other systems and equipment that use BP/DPO as heat transfer fluids can refer to this standard.
This standard applies to both unused and in-use biphenyl/diphenyl oxide-based heat transfer fluids.
