This document specifies requirements and recommendations for the design, development, and evaluation of effective and usable User Assistance (UA) for mobile applications. It includes a set of principles to build effective UA, focusing on key topics specific to the mobile context, such as the smaller screen-size of mobile devices. This document covers both the development of content specifically for mobile devices and the transformation of UA content developed for other formats (responsive design). This document provides the main steps of the process for designing and testing of UA information.
This document does not include technical specifications of the visual, auditory, tactile, and other sensorial input and output methods for the mobile device interface.
