This document applies to household and similar electric warming plates.

This document defines the main performance characteristics that are of interest to the user and specifies methods for measuring these characteristics.

This document does not apply to specify the requirements for performance.

NOTE 1 This document does not deal with the safety requirements (covered in IEC 60335-2-12).

NOTE 2 This document does not deal with integrated heating functions other than a warming function
